Buckcherry’s Francis Ruiz recently purchased a BC2. Talking about it he said: ‘This BC2 system has changed my life! Other artists investing in Porter & Davies gear include Drew Michael studio and tour drummer for Sam Fender, a 2020 nominee for Best New Artist at the Brit Awards and Michael Rennie, drummer for fast growing alt artist YungBlud who has over ten million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Snarky Puppy band members and Grammy award winners Jason ‘JT’ Thomas and Jamison Ross have both invested in Porter & Davies kit to use on tour and in the studio. Jamison who is currently playing with Boz Skaggs commented ‘I’m in love with this throne! Sonically, it actually clears up a lot of mix issues as a drummer. The BC2 along with In Ears; a match made in Heaven.’ Grammy nominee, Joe Gelini is using a TT6 Equipped round throne top in British Racing green velvet when playing with his band Cha Wa and Jerry Pentecost, respected drummer with the Grammy award winning band Old Crow Medicine Show observes: ‘It’s hard to imagine life without the BC2! It’s a must have for all drummers!’
Chris Marquart, touring drummer with multi-platinum country superstar Cole Swindell, recently acquired a BC2rm, Ross Craib the talented drummer accompanying acclaimed singer, songwriter Dodie bought a BC2 and Andy Burrows, part of the classic Razorlight line-up and 2021 band reunion, purchased a BC2. Jake Sommers, who plays with one of Country’s top earning artists, Luke Combs found: ‘Once I began playing with the BC2rm I could tell an immediate difference in my playing. I could feel the low end, plus the addition of adding the toms is an added bonus. The seat is very comfortable which is great for long shows.’
Turkish drummers Mehmet Demirdelen and Berkan Tilavel of Duman and Adamlar respectively join the Porter & Davies artist family alongside Canadian drum teacher and Roland clinician Nathan McLaren, Australia’s Kieran Lama of indie rock band Spacey Jane and Jost Nickel with German rapper and pop artist Jan Delay. Whilst in America Josh Gabriel (Terry Bradshaw), Norm Whitehurst (Jennifer Batten Band), Jay Nazz (Reckless Kelly) and Gonzo Sandoval (Armored Saint) are using Porter & Davies monitors.
