Drummer’s Review
Hybrid drumming legend Andy Gangadeen has been added to already-impressive list of artists performing on the main stage at The UK Drum Show this April.
Since completing a qualification in electronics at college, Andy Gangadeen was inspired to combine his knowledge with his love of drums. His unique approach led to him performing with Lisa Stansfield, Massive Attack and Duran Duran before moving on to Jeff Beck, Chase and Status and his own project The Bays.
Widely recognised as the father of hybrid drumming, he is an innovator in progressive drumming and has developed a following as a first-rate teacher. His influence has stretched across 40 years of pop, rock, jazz and dance music.
Andy will be joining fellow hybrid drumming pioneer Oli Wiseman on the main stage in association with Natal Drums on Saturday 2 April at 11.15am to form an exciting, explosive partnership that’s not to be missed!
