Hit Like A Girl and the organizers of The UK Drum Show have announced the expansion of the 2023 UK Drum Show with “The Lounge”— a newly created activity room featuring a range of special events, masterclasses, panels and performances presented by leading artists and educators and open to all convention attendees.

As of press time, confirmed activities in The Lounge include:

Global Drum Ambassador Dom Famularo moderating “Drumming Connects Us”, a panel discussion featuring a group of teen influencers and drumming advocates.
Louise King , co-producer of the popular Netflix documentary “Count Me In,” moderating a “Women In The Workforce” panel featuring some of the UK’s top professional drummers and percussionists.
Interactive Masterclasses will taught be popular online drum instructors Emma Taylor and Ciara Chinniah.

Each day will begin with an opening showcase at 12:00 followed by a masterclass at 13:30, a panel discussion at 15:00 and a performance at 16:30. Additional details to be made as artist availability is confirmed.

The Hit Like A Girl hosted Lounge is another great, new feature for TUKDS 2023, complementing the Show’s main exhibition hall and main stage as well as clinics, education and experience rooms.
