Pianos – Keyboard and Synths – Music Instrument News
Gold Media & Events are excited to announce the launch of a further online consumer news and video review platform later this month, with the introduction of Keys Review.
Keys Review will be based on the same high quality and impartial principals from their existing consumer review sites Drummer’s Review, Acoustic Review and Bass Guitar Review, and will be presented by accomplished player and educator Thomas Quirke. The site will offer advice on stage piano, keyboards and synths to educate and stimulate interest for this sector.
“I have been a performing musician and educator for 28 years. Coming from a musical background, my father, Michael Quirke was a singer and teacher in the 60’s, who inspired me to perform in bands from the age of 10. By 11 I had already recorded my first album which was recorded at Pinewood Studios for a LWT travel series called Travel Trails. I am looking forward to bringing my experience and knowledge to Keys Review and for forging new relationships with GM’s trade partners.” – Thomas Quirke.
In 2002, Thomas studied a degree in World Contemporary Jazz, securing a teaching post after this. Over 5 years in this position he learnt the importance of music performance for teenagers and working in groups promoted confidence, skill and an escapism from the outside world.
“Thomas brings various and relevant skills to Keys Review. As well as being an accomplished player and educator, through the procurement process for college campuses, Thomas’s has had to to identify and purchase a variety of different keys related products, which makes him naturally a good fit for Keys Review with identifying the various features and benefits between brands,” states publisher Neil Golding.
As a musician Thomas has had the privilege of performing with bands in supporting artists such as Oasis, Lily Allen and the Petshop Boys. He has also performed with Jason Rebello (UK Jazz award winning Jazz Pianist and Lillian Boutte (ex Jazz Ambassador for New Orleans).
Thomas currently teaches A-Level Music, BTEC Music Performance and coordinates several Music Performance Academies.
