How do I Order a Martin Custom Shop Guitar?

The process to order your Martin Custom Shop guitar is quite easy! We routinely stock a number of great Custom Shop guitars right here on our site. These guitars are available for purchase now. Alternatively, if you have an idea for your own custom build, just contact our sales team to get going. You can submit to us a full list of specifications and supporting images, or you can simply give us a base model you like and bullet point a couple of changes. Once we have your idea dialed-in, The Music Zoo will get a quote from Martin. Quotes generally take a few days to a couple weeks depending on the complexity of the build. Quotes are free with no obligation to purchase. We’ll be able to provide you with a spec sheet, pricing, and an ETA for the build once the quote is back. Pricing for Martin Custom Shop guitars can vary widely depending on the complexity of the build. From the low $2,000 range to over $50,000 has been seen. The best way to get an accurate cost for your Martin Custom Guitar is to get a quote through The Music Zoo. Every spec has an impact on pricing, so Brazilian rosewood would naturally be more expensive than standard mahogany. The more pearl inlays you add, the higher the style (18, 28, 45, etc), and the nicer the woods, generally the more expensive the build. A D-45 base model for example is simply a more expensive guitar than a D-18 base model as you can see online.
